USDA expects ag exports to set record in 2022, decline by $5 billion in 2023

Agricultural exports will set a record in 2022 -- $196 billion -- but are expected to decline in 2023, according to USDA.  The agency revised its export forecast upward for fiscal year 2022 by $5 billion from its May projection, largely due to increases in livestock, poultry and dairy exports. Next year, exports are projected at $193.5 billion, down $2.5 billion from 2022.
