Survey Reveals Farmers’ Concern of the Future

Sound familiar?  You’re not alone.  A survey conducted by Purdue University CME Group Ag Economy Barometer showed that farmers are optimistic about current economic conditions (they can only get better!) but not so about the future.  About 44% of those surveyed said their farms were worse off in February than they were a year ago and 29% expected their financial situation to get worse over the next 12 months.  Many farmers feel they are carrying last year’s financial struggles into the current year, compounding the pressures they feel.   Read more about this here.  Scroll for farm stress management tools
