Idaho farmer wins wheat yield contest with record 231 bushels per acre

Rylee Reynolds, 27, farms in Twin Falls County with his dad, Gary, and grandpa, Dean.  Reynolds had the highest yield of 231 bushels per acre — a contest record. The previous record was 211 bushels per acre in 2019.  Reynolds raised the soft white winter variety Ovation, from Syngenta.  It was the first time he achieved a yield that high, he said.
