Direct seeding continues to make headway in the southern part of Idaho. The Direct Seed Workshop held each year in early March helps address local issues and concerns. The Direct Seed Workshop allows growers to share their on-farm experiences with direct seed – what has and has not worked in their operations and new techniques and technologies they have employed over the years. Past topics have included fertility management in direct seeded grain, value of residue, equipment information and pest control options.
The 2020 Direct Seed Workshop is in Pocatello, ID at Idaho State University on Tuesday, March 10 at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are available here: directseed2020.eventbrite.com
